Today, we sound the fallen tributes cannon 5 times.

2.22.16 Headline:
“Quantity Over Quality?”

Not a shabby first day back from break. Not shabby at all. And we haven't even hit the next Immunity yet. We love what we're seeing. Well, for the most part. Because while the number of kills today were quite pleasing to witness, the quality of the kills were not quite as theatrical or bombastic as previous ones we've seen. Of course, everything is relative, and we've seen some pretty ridiculous things over break. We'll try our best to relay the facts of the day to you in an entertaining way.

We'll begin with a haiku that sums up the day. Written in house, of course:

Spoons were forgotten.
Twas Christmas for the killers.
Craps were not given.

Now, for a shorter-than-Sparknotes summary of several of the kills. In the form of a poem. Ahem...

AK's spoon was still on winter break.
That morning, the bell had yet to ring.
His killer got him, but he did not quake.
He was “too lazy” to care about a thing.

Busy, busy Jimmy rushing like mad
To run to a yearbook photo for his club.
He left his spoon by his mouse pad
And that was when he got the snub.

Maggie and cheerleaders were on the way
To take a photo to go in the EPIC.
The editors convinced her everything was okay,
But she was then taken out. Quite tragic.

Mekhla was trekking back to her house,
Walking on the sidewalk. A typical day.
Her killer stormed towards her like an angry spouse.
She “just gave up” and decided to pray.
Well, that took a lot more effort than we intended. Tomorrow should be much easier to write about. We look forward to seeing all of you with your pet rocks!
